An interesting and unique combination of attractions, the Tallahassee Museum was formerly named the Museum of History and Natural Science. The site incorporates a natural habitat zoo, an environmental science center, and a collection of historical artifacts and buildings. Stretching across 52 acres / 21 hectares with a lakeside location, the complex features animals, reptiles and birds of prey, as well as a farmstead dating from the 1880s, nature trails and the Discovery Center, bursting with hands-on exhibits.
